Biggest Transfer Deadline Day Story

So, for most of us in Europe, yesterday was transfer deadline day and in the UK it was one of the quietest on record. Biggish signings were made by both Manchester United and Manchester City but most other stories were loan moves - quite a number going to West Ham. The big news was probably Robbie Keane going from Spurs to Celtic on loan. Any exciting movements for your club? What do you think the biggest move was? What exciting stories emerged from other leagues outside the UK? I'm a Norwich City fan and it was a very quiet day for us indded - we let one player go, but that was it.

I'm not too updated about the transfer goings on around Europe yet but there was as you said a quiet window this time in England.
The biggest move was definitely Robbie Keane, the biggest for Celtic fans anyway.
If it turns out to only be for a few months then this deal looks ok for Keane,as he should score loads in Scotland. It could lead to a move to another Premiership side in the summer.
If it's a permanent deal in the summer then I think he has seriously taken a step backwards in his career by joining Celtic.Another three to five years would have been ideal for him to go to Scotland as he's only 29.

Actually there is no big transfer deadline story for me. I think Keano was not getting any game time at Tottenham and looking at the way Defoe is scoring for fun, I doubt he would have got a look in this season. So from his perspective this move was a better option than staying put at Spurs.
Mido to West Ham was a surprising one for me given the attitude issues. Shorey to Fulham could be the move of the transfer window as this seems to be a win win for the club and player. Victor Moses to Wigan has got the pundits excited, need to see how the lad turns up.
Cheers!
