I don't really know because .com is top level domain. Why must free? It's not professional I think. Using paid service is better I think!

you cannot really get a TLD for free. Though there are a few services that offer a domain for free for 1 year like register.com. Or what you could do is go to hostbidder forum, involve in their community by posting on their forum. That will give you points which you can use to redeem a domain for you for free for 1 year.

Never saw a free top level .com domain for free,
.co.cc there is for 1 year.

i think all those site that offers free web hosting would always include their site making it their site you are promoting more instead of yours. i think you need to register a domain name with a .com extension but you really need to pay for it.

well there is no .com domain for free except at freewebs.com they have a promotion now..can get a free domain name but only for month . if you trying to find cheap domain try at godaddy.com . Cheapest domain is .info only $0.89 .
