HIV/AIDS - ANY PERMANENT CURE IN SIGHT?

Can there be a permanent cure for the HIV/AIDS scourge? How soon will the medical world be coming up with a final potent cure? When?

I say that in the next hundred years they should be able to make a cure that will get rid of the hiv/aids virus for good.
