You heard it right, we can watch TV programs through computer via internet. Even you don't have television you can still watch TV programs using your computer with internet connection. Many sites are now offering this for free. One of these sites is http://tv.tipidtrip.com It's not as easy to change channel like on real television but the point is we can watch tv programs in computer. Sometimes during lunchbreak at work, I watch local tv programs in my computer. For me, this is great. Another advancement in technology. How about you, what do you think of this?

I think this is great, I did not know. I think you for the link. I do not have cable, or a disk, I can not afford them. But, now I can still watch good shows. I think you again for sharing. Happy posting.

Hi friend. Though I'm a heavy internet user, I don't get enough time to watch TV online. Because our local internet service is too slow for loading web pages and so it takes much time for completing any task online. But I wish to watch TV and that's why I've been waiting for the internet service to improve.

It is really not allowed in the office. That's why you can try it during free time or breaks. That feature is advantageous in other place and not in the office, like malls as long as there is internet connection. Thank's for responding.

hello, I don't know what kind of shows are you preferring to but i do watch some of the news in you-tube where abs had their account there for me to watch some of the important news, most specially if i missed it. technology gives us the ease of looking some information. but some are also abusing it.

Yes, I also watch shows on youtube, but this online television shows are live. Even you are away from television, having your computer with internet connection will let you watch your favorite tv shows. I just found it great since it's another addition to technology. Thank you for responding.

yeah, I like to watch some tv programs via the internet if I missed a show that I like, but I mostly just watch movies, or mma via internet. Internet comes in handy when you miss something on tv or just wanted to watch a movie for a while but didn't.

I sometimes watch television shows on the computer, especially when I am not able to watch it when it's on the tv. I like to be able to watch some of my favorite shows at anytime.

I always like hearing of new TV stations on the net. I don't have cable, so I'm limited to 2 stations at home.

Yes that is right you can watch tv on the Internet. I have watched a few favorite shows that way. I have watched episopds of one favorie show on the networks on website. I was not able to watch when I was brodcasted and I was not able to sent my VCR. so watching on the net made it convenet to catch up on episods I missed. I have done this with one other show on a diffent net work. watching tv shows this way is allrigt for some but it is not my first choice. I much rather watch a tv show on tv, the reason is that I would rather watch a show on a big tv screeen and not a small compuer secrean.

Hi buddy... have a nice day. I use to watch my favorite programs in computer which i miss to watch sometimes... But i am not so comfortable watching certain live programs in internet as it gets buffered very slow. But we have an option that, though we miss some shows in television, we can watch it using internet.... so thats coolll

Yeah, its a great way of catching series you've missed! A lot of channels provide an online player in their website, where you can view TV programs of the said channel. I watch iTV programs using ITV player in their website. Its a great alternative here in Britain since you need to pay a license for you to have a tele.

I love to watch TV programs through computer, specially those TV programs that only offered in cable networks like national geographic, CNN, etc. I've been addicted to watch it on http://www.pldtwatchpad.com/ during my vacant hours. Technology this days are so amazing! ^_^

Hi markmoney!^^ Yeah, I've seen people do that with their computer. But I think you need something, I don't what it is called, that you need to attach to your computer so you can watch TV programs with it. I have never tried that with my computer although at times, I think of doing that. However, I don't watch many TV programs now so I cancel the thought. I still watch some TV shows but I just download the episodes in the internet and watch it in my comfortable time.^^

Some of the TV shows we missed like NCIS or BONES. Once in a great while, I'll watch on tv. There was a show on DIY that had recycling redecorating combination that I used to love, But they didn't have very many shows, so I had seen them all after a while.

I've never heard of tipidtrip, but it sounds good. What kinds of programmes are they? Are they from a particular TV channel? Here we can watch some programmes that we've missed on our TV stations via their websites. The BBC website has iplayer, which means that you can watch certain BBC programmes for a certain amount of time after they were aired. I know that there are a lot of websites out there that let you do this, whether they're legal sites or not, but I'm only familiar with those attached to TV channels. It's very useful when you miss an episode of your favourite soap opera!

I dont use the computer for watching movies or tv programs. I know of a couple of sites but havent used them as yet. The reason being. It eats up your computers memory. I play sims3 and that is mainly why. I can watch the tv thats near my computer to watch a movie or tv program and play sims3 at the same time on the computer. My tv has a vcr and dvd players hooked up to it.
