Antivirus xp 2010 is a virus!

Thanks for the warning. Somthing has happened to my son's computer, but have no idea what yet. I downloaded an update from windows and it just shut down and now won't boot up, goes to a blue warning screen. I have not heard of that one.

This is a good discussion to warn all of us that actually have no idea about this new virus because it's relatively new. I must say Lee, the first responder, gave a very precise description on how the virus goes into your system

I got the anti virus 2010 on my laptop one month ago. It stopped all other applications working on my laptop. It was the worst virus that my laptop has ever caught. Luckily my brother-in-law managed to remove that mother of all viruses from my laptop. I bought a Trend Micro disk and am now using that. I hope that my laptop will stay free of all viruses. The thing with that awful virus it sounded like a anti virus program not a virus. I thought it was really strange.

This the first time I have heard of this viris. I have not been infectioed by this one or any other. I do have good security for my computer, in fact I just renewed my subcrition today. I have also not heard of anyone who has been infecion by this untill now.

I also have encountered this problem and I thinks this is a Spyware. When your computer download it, its difficult to remove. My solution was I installed an antispyware.
