Do you pretend to laugh at a joke even if you don't find it funny??

I must say that there are always people telling jokes as well as texting them to each other all the time and alot of the jokes are not funny,or at least i do not think that they are funny at all.I am the type of person that will smile rather than laugh at a joke and if i get texts that are jokes i am the type of person only to send a few on to other friends and delete the others that i do not think are funny.

I'm not really that hard to please kind of person. That goes with jokes as well. I can almost find something funny about everything. I just feel that life is much easier is you can find something funny to relate to it. I laugh at almost every jokes thrown at me not necessarily because it is funny but just with the thought that the other person made some effort to make me laugh. I may not laugh my heart out if its a corny joke but at least make an effort that i appreciate the joke.

HI, I sometimes pretend and sometime dont cuz it really hurt when someone find out. lolz... any way, before you start it, I already laugh on this topic ... nothing too serious... haha.. it is just funny thought

In order to be polite, I usually fake some short laugh for a non funny joke somebody had made. But if I find that joke really terrible or insulting, I express my opinion about it, to let a person know, that joke wasn't good and he/she should avoid such jokes in the future. I also say that if someone keeps joking, thinking he/she is very good at it, but these continuous jokes get really annoying.

If I don't find a joke to be funny, I don't laugh at all. People can usually tell when I'm not amused because I'll either glare at them or stare blankly at them with one eyebrow raised. My emotions are rarely ever hidden from those around me.

SOmetimes I will laugh at a joke Even if its not funny, only if its like someone thats trying to Be funny that I feel sorry for because when I was younger..I wasnt really funny at all and made horrible jokes..so I know how it kinda feels...its actual very diffucult to make me genuinely laugh now adays

When the joke is really really funny, even if it came from someone that I didn't know, I would keep it to myself and perhaps tell it to those that I really know, starting with, "I heard this nice joke a while ago.." and hopefully they would find the joke as funny or even funnier when I tell them. If its not really that funny, I guess I'd just smile and continue to whatever it was that I was doing.

i dont.if i dont find it funny i dont laugh at all or even try to pretend.its because i dont wanted to fool myself or even my friend.if i fake it chances are he will be using that joke to other people and might get embarrassed in front of other so might as well tell him/her that early.

hi cecillecarmela oh yes if I do not know the person and even if I don't think its funny I will still laugh just to keep from' embarrassing this stranger. I would not want to be made fun of either if I had made a joke that was not very funny. it never hurts to be kind to people and what goes around comes around to. kindness is never lost and it sometimes repays you when you least expect it.

sometimes, just to be polite. he/ she had try to make some jokes, and i will appreciate it with laugh or just a light smile

Yeah! Count me in :) I have to you know because the people that live around me are Somewhat pretty useful to me So i have to laugh at their most stupid jokes ... And believe me it is more fruitful than it Seems .. I feel Sad though as it Sometimes Seems like evil but this planet is where the fittest Survives :) I hope I didnt Seem evil guys ... I am guilty of this, I must admit I guess it's because I don't want to embarass the person telling me the joke or make them feel awkward, so I force myself to produce a convincing laugh and let them have their brief moment of joy

Dear friend, Yes, I would laugh even if I do not know what the joke was of all about. I just wan to be a part in that group. May be I enjoy others laugh and happiness. I do want to be one among all those there who enjoyed that joke even if actually I had not.

Between friends, there's no need to hide anything from each other ^_^ I'm very much closer to my army group of frenz as compared to school mates of the past.. haha =D As such, we are able to relax and joke around with each other.. With a certain level of understanding, we are bound to laugh it off, with a corny joke, turning into a real funny matter.. hehe

hahaha very funny question but comming to me it deponds on the persons if the person is well known to me i dont feel to hurt him saying that his joke was not good becuase i dont my people to feel sad so i will encourage them to make some good jokes becuase this reallya good thing they are trying to make us laugh which is really good to the health if u laugh atleast once in a day but if the person is my enemy i laugh like any thing hahaa getting confused? let me say i laugh on his face and say that the jokes was like his face i laughed becoz not of his joke but he dont know atleast to say some good joke ahahahah laugh a day !! for healthly

Yeah true if they were my friends and if I DONT find the joke funny I would have told them right away but if it was someone else I would hesitate and try to laugh IF FUNNY or not.

Hi Friend, I remember a Joke after reading your post,Once all the animals of the jungle was sitting together and everybody was trying to make the Lion King happy so The Monkey told a joke and everybody started laughing but the donkey couldn't understand the joke and was looking at all the animals.After the party was over next week again all animals were together at the same place for discussing a serious issue.Suddenly the donkey started laughing aloud.Guess why????? Now coming back to your question, smile and laugh are such things which triggers some signals from our mind that the opposite person automatically start smiling , if not laughing .

HI. Interesting question. I guess i do that depends of the person who tells the "joke".If a good friend says a bad joke i'm gonna laugh of him not of his joke,but if it a person that i want to get closer maybe i'm gonna laugh a bit .
