Calling Brazil

The Boss visited the beauty studio at the weekend and asked me if I'd like to come with her. "You can have a Brazilian" she said. Now I felt that this was unusually enlightened for my wife of 23 years. But when I enquired how long the shop had had this facility and whether prophylactics were included she gave me what I can best describe as a "funny" look. I am a fairly hirsute chap and she told me that this was one way of separating me further from my primate ancestors. Have you had a Brazilian, or a Czech, or maybe a Tongan. Funny old world.

I have only had an Australian! I am surprised by how many people did not know about The Brazilian hair removal technique here. Everyone in Australia knows what it is. Probably because we are at the beach so often and it is very popular with the ladies! And men!

Oh, my!! I had no idea, before you mentioned this, what such a thing was! Is there no part of the body that's safe from the fashion dictators?! I expect the Boss was quite amused at your naivete! You must've both had a good laugh. Did you end up going with her and getting a nice manicure/pedicure? I've always wondered what it was like to get one of those.

I think that the Boss has been quite amused by me for years. When she said that she was marrying me everyone laughed including her! I managed to avoid the pain of the beauty studio. You ladies really do suffer for your vanity! I have had a pedicure though. very good, but nowhere near as wonderful as a foot massage.

hi pikey uh what is a Brazilian or should I ask, perhaps as we are talking beauty shop here and hiruste, could this be the name of a hair style? oh my goodness, and what what that look like? the ladies don't have that interesting a name. with Brazilian I see side burns and slicked down sort of shiny black hair, collar length but Czech or tongon? I see the Tongan with a bone through a top knot. whoa my imagination is off ona tangent now. I wear my hair long and sort of untamed, I just call it a bushy do for now.

I think that Oreo answered the question Hatley. It's just a little joke. In my case, a very little joke!

You mean Brazilian wax from want I know they are using special formulation for waxing. From what I watch on TV it is very painful and expensive. Like here in our country because they are many Brazilians coming here Brazilian wax is very popular.

I once had a Monogolian! It was very weird actually and involved me being strapped to a table whilst studio staff painstakingly removed hair from my legs and implanted it between my eyes to create a mono-brow. I'm going back next week to get a spine mohawk as well.

Uh, nope. Not any of 'em, p1key. And not being 'a fairly hirsute chap' such as yourself, I really have no need of such trappings of beauty. Anyway, I go through enough, for cryin' out loud! Natural beauty takes time, they say. Time and aggravation, I say! But I do it, every single time I'm going to leave the house. But when I don't leave the house? Ha! You've seen me, p1key my love. I barely even glance into the mirror! Who cares anyway? You and Stuie love me any way, and that's pretty much all that counts!
