Motion sickness/whatever.
Do you get it? Do you know someone who gets it?
My girlfriend lives 120 miles from me and I am the most travel sick person you could ever wish to meet! A fine how do you do right??
How do you deal with it of you get it?
Have you found something to cure you?

I (thankfully) don't get motion sickness. However, I grew up with a brother who did. Long car trips sharing the back seat with him were not fun. I have lots os sympathy for those who do suffer it.
He used to take over-the-counter medicine for it, with limited success. He was better off to eat toast or salteens along the way. And avoid greasy or spicy foods.
Also, sitting in the back seat, watching the world zoom by in his pripheral vision didn't help. If he sat in the front and could focus more on the forward distance, left a window open for fresh air, and avoided reading while traveling...those things also helped.
Sounds like some one might end up moving?

I am prone to suffer from this occasionally. When I was visiting California I found that it worsened considerably due to the hilly landscape. I purchased magnetic wrist bands and they seemed to help a lot.

i get car sick...like crazy. if i'm in the backseat, shotgun, it doesn't matter - i will start to get queasy. my boyfriend and i drove about 200 miles to the shore and we had to stop every two or three rest stops along (he drove) because i just couldn't deal with it.
the only thing that cures it is if i drive, which makes me think it's more about me wanting to be in control of the vehicle rather than the motion sickness aspect of it.

There are pills, which are called Dramina here, that can help with that. I usually don't have motion sickness, except in a car when I'm reading something or in a bus when I'm sitting in the back. I have it on planes when we're landing and I always have it on cruise ships when the sea is rough. All you need to do is take the pill and fall asleep or something. These pills make you sleepy, which is sometimes a good thing in these kind of situations.
