What's with Digg and Squidoo?

I'm thinking about signing up on Digg but I'm anxious about submitting my articles there. Would they mind if all articles are written using the first person or do I have start writing my articles using the third person? And what about Squidoo? Do they take articles too? ... I've grown to really love my blog now, I love that I'm writing articles online, without pressure or anything, and I'd love to market it, and everything that's in it...but I'm just feeling anxious, that my articles might not be good enough to be exposed and viewed, or something like it... Would you guys give me some advice? _
