...Hi garfield_lemia, A hearty welcome to the ranch, hope you enjoy yourself. I didn't mind the exams, as long as we were given time to prepare. What I really hated were the pop quizzes, I just could not get my head around those, "okay class, put your books away, you are now going to take a little test". I hated that with a passion. I'm sure I did terribly on all of them, can't remember, because
I've probably blocked it all out. "o) Thanks for responding, take it easy.

....Hi there shawnchang, Artistry here. Welcome to the ranch, if I hadn't told you before. It sounds like you really enjoyed your days at the university. You had good feelings from your fellow students, which means a lot, as some time college work is not that easy, and you need support. Hopefully the future will hold some times that will make you feel as good as you did while you were in college. Thanks for your response. Take care. Sorry to take so long getting back to you.

...Hi donsky14, I was not called on to do much if any boardwork as I remember, but I did not like making reports either. I had a tendency to basically read them, when the teacher wanted you to talk without looking at your paper. That was hard for me to do, I always got very nervous and forgot half the thing. I remember one day, hoping that the bell for class to end would ring before I got called on. Nerve racking to say the least. Thanks for sharing. Take it easy.

...Hi donsky, If you took an engineering course, you must be smart enough to know what was going on. Engineering is not the easiest subject to master, so I applaud you for your skill. I am sure you made it through the class in one piece "o), even though you did not like the boardwook. You were probably able to convince everyone that you knew what you were doing in spite of it all. Good show.

I hated homework in my school days. It was frustating and added several stressful hours to my school day.
Nowadays they are beginning to question the validity of this practice and are finding that it really serves no purpose until highschool. That is afterall when students should be preparing for post secondary education.

...Hi Allie_xoxo, I don't think any of us enjoyed doing homework. You would have to start immediately when you got home, if it was for the next day, because you didn't want to be tired when you started it. Then you get stressed wondering if it was going to be acceptable to the teacher. That is interesting that they may change it, the children will appreciate it I am sure. Thanks for your up-to-date response. Take care.

Homework on the weekends. Just getting homework on the weekends. I mean, seriously, by Friday afternoon, I was ready not to think about school until Monday. There was always a couple of teachers that decided to be funny by assigning homework on the weekend. I never knew why. Half of the class never turned it in to begin with. I did it myself under protest, because I was not about to be defeated on such a issue.
Also random pop quizzes never failed to get under my skin. I understand why they were given. The teachers wanted to make sure that we read the material. The problem is that always seemed to come for me when I had other things to do and could only skim the chapter at best. That was always something that I never liked.
Of course, I stuck it out. I never liked being sick. Especially if it was for real. I always dragged myself out of bed when I was sufficiently well enough to move. It always seemed that by missing only a day or two, I was behind a week. There was some odd time scale for school that did not work on the boundaries of logic that I never quite figured out.
