Dining Out

I may be alone in this, but I think someone has to say something. People, please, if a store or restaurant posts hours stating that it doesn't open till a certain time, then it doesn't open till that time. Don't show up ten minutes early and when you find the doors still locked call to complain. Today my wife, our two daughters and myself went to a chain Italian restaurant. As this was only the second day open for this new location, they had a sign outside that clearly stated the hours that they were open. Sure enough, people started showing up 15minutes early. We were there early as wel, but we were waiting patiently in the car. These individuals tugged on the door and knocked till someone answered to tell them that they weren't open yet. These individuals then walked away looking all put off. Are you kidding me? How would you feel if you came to work right on time and your boss said "why weren't you here 15 minutes early?" You might respond, "my schedule says to be here at this time. I don't understand why you are upset." This practically the same thing. The open time for the restaurant is the time that they will be ready to open their doors and serve food. Employees are scheduled and food is prepared with that exact time in mind. So next time you decide you want to head to that steakhouse that doesn't open till five, don't show up early unless you are planning on waiting patiently for them to open the doors!! Thanks!
