My Upcoming Surgery! Igot it over with!

Well, I had it done. My rotator cuff and bicep tendon is over. I had it done on Thursday 01/28/10. I have already started physical therapy to regain the use of my arm. They are looking at 4 to 6 months for recovery. It is gonna be tough because I am already bored out of my mind. LOL. I have been doing a lot of reading and that helps. And helping the kids with homework and making them do their chores helps to keep me occupied as well. It really hasn't been as painful as I thought it would be though but the recovery is is a drag. Thanks to all who post and reply.

Good Luck on your therapy, I know I will never understand what it feels like, because I never been through that, but I wish you all the best through your recovery.

Nice going. Congratulations. I think it'll help if you think of this 6 months recovery period as a "vacation" from doing the dishes, laundry, etc...I mean of course, sometimes you have no choice but to take care of these things and it could be really hard, but you don't need to pressure yourself so much. And take your time in doing these things. Anyway hope that helps. I wish you good luck.
