How to keep the star beside the name higher ??

You only just noticed it? Everyone is bothered about it and after the earnings I guess it's the next thing that most look at - and then come the discussions. Seriously though, as Lamb said, there is nothing we can do about it except for staying within the uidelines and being pleasant. We can rate others and hope that they will do unto us as we do to them. just response and positive rating. and of course, a best response will make a difference. just like me, i didn't know the exact multiplication, addition or whatever it is. just hope for the best response. and be polite, ALL THE TIME. and just give positive rating to everyone. (+) cheers!

It is just like lamb said that you really can't do anything yourself. If users feel your posts are acceptable then will get positives, but if they don't like your posts, then you get negatives. I really wouldn't worry about it to much though. Mine goes up and down like a youo at times, but I am not concerned about it as I am doing the best I can. The thing of it is, there are users that will rate you negative for disagreeing with them, and that is unfair, but it does happen. You just keep posting and hope for the best, as that is all you can do. It will go up in in time but if it doesn't then just consider yrouself lucky you have the red star. There are some users where their star never goes up and they don't worry about it. Just hang in here. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

To try to keep it around the same or higher,you are going to write interesting,quality,post and comments.You want to try to put accurate tags on all of your discussions,and just hope people follow the guidelines.Good luck

I actually don't even really think about my star rating. It's just something that I really don't pay attention to. However, there is no way that you can personally change your rating here. The rating is based on the way that other people perceive your discussions and responses. That said, the best way to insure that you are going to have a decent star rating is to make sure that you always post with quality in mind.

Hello Hubfee, I dont let it bother me. I do the best I can. I speak my mind and try to help whenever possible to the best of my knowledge. We cant all think alike and of course it will happen that you will brush someone the wrong way. Personally, Id rather know if I offend someone. If they rate me low, then I wont know what I did because we dont know who is rating us. So I enjoy my star, knowing that I did some good. Enjoy Mylotting
