Should people keep their hands to themselves?

I think that they should because who likes to be hit by somebody else or touched. I don't because it does get annoying to me I feel like people feel that they could touch me because they think I am weak. I learned this rule like in Kindergarden and through out the grades keep your hands to your self and learn to respect others. That;s what I learned when I was growing up so I don't like to hit people or poke them or anything like that because it will get annoying to them and they will feel like you don't respect them.

I agree, I generally hate being poked or touched or hit by just anyone. There are a few exceptions though. I like it when my kid does it to me, it's like his way of expressing I want to play with you mommy and I miss having you near me. So that's one. Another is, if it's someone who's really close and touching or poking brings a certain form of intimacy (is that the right word?)...So that's it. It's a yes and no answer to you question. I agree, but if they ever touch you, you should not hit them back since it will just bring you down to their level. Let them know that you should not be touched through your body language. :)
