He knows I'd do the same for him, and I have in the past. LOL My laptop is in the shop getting repaired and I won't get it back till tomorrow night. The guys who are looking at it are very quick, very through, and very reasonable. In the meantime, I'm using his computer for the evening, and we are taking turns. I remember when he didn't have a computer, we shared mine. I'm glad it's only for one night, but I'm also glad that when it all comes down to it, we don't mind sharing with eachother. How do you feel about sharing your computer if someone else's computer is unavailable?

hi danishcanadian well I was in the same spot but my son and I are separated by three miles and his computer is not here but he was my tech and he had mine repaired and up and running in two days. some sort of glitch happened when I shut my computer down so that although all the files were there the computer was not reading that the start up file was okay and not missing or corrupted, so he repaired for me and I am back in business. when we had our own apartment our computers were connected so if mine was off then while he fixed mine I could use his but his had so many twists and turns and add ons that it was confusion city for me. but its so wonderful to have my son be my computer go to guy now if others would recoginze his genius and give him a computer programing job again we would both be thrilled.

I have no problem letting anyone use my computer. There have been several different people who have used mine when their own was not working and since I have a printer that is very reliable, it is often "borrowed" when others' are not working, even if my computer is NOT being used. In your case, I would say that it would almost be worth your husband's while TO let you use his computer, since you do depend on it for making money that the 2 of you use together!

The real beauty of life is understanding and sharing whether thoughts or things. It is not the question of simply sharing the compouter or laptop. The thoght that you and your husband understand each other's problem and are coming forward to help each other is something which is a great feeling and fills the heart. This is what makes a married life happy, content and long lasting. God bless you both.

You have a very nice husband:) I can share many things with my husband, including the teeth brush when we have the travel. As to the computer, I have to say that I like to use it a lot. I can give him to use for a while if I don't use it at that time. As usually I have many things to do by computer. I love China

Hello Danishcanadian, It depends WHO wants to use my computer. Let me explain. I use my computer to work and I wont let just anyone use it. But if my husband had problems with his many computers, I wouldnt mind letting him use mine. I also know that if I had problems with mine and it did happen before, he lets me use one of his. He needs to show me where everything is on his computers though as he uses them to play games and he keeps relevant icons hidden. I once had to use one of his and I didnt even know how to get it connected to the internet, had to call him so he'd tell me.

It happens here a lot, just whoever gets where and when. I actually want to be able to get a netbook sometime soon. Then if we are traveling I will have something that is easy to take along. Sharing is nice.

I'm ok with it, as long as my children know that they can't download a whole bunch of applications from facebook. (hubby got a nasty virus last summer from one of them so we're really careful about what we do now) My middle daughter doesn't have one of her own, so she's always looking to share with someone else!

I don't mind sharing my laptop with another adult but, I hate letting my kids use it. My kids have their own computer but, they don't like it because it's a desktop.

Some time ago our puppy damaged my laptop, and I wasn't able to use it for a while. My husband let me use his laptop while my own didn't work. I really appreciate that, and I think it is nice that we are able to share our things. In the beginning we only had one internet connection and at that time we shared my computer. One day while my husband was using it, it broke down. Now we usually joke about it, and my husband says that he doesn't want to touch my new laptop in case that breaks down, too. But that is just a joke, of course he can use my computer if his own breaks down or something like that.
