Will you be offended by this?

I have been chatting and meeting with this guy for a while, who has been very nice, helping and caring, except teasing me with something I was really embarrassed despite of several warnings...I guess he just did not take it seriously. Just this one day, when we were talking and teasing each other again...i told him kind of seriourly that i never let guys walk me to my building after date, which he does...what i meant was i was careful with ppl that i dont let them know my address...he replied directly saying: you let them walk you upstairs straightaway, with two naughty faces with it...it is not the first time he make such bad joke, he made it against himself before...i was offended and expressed it straightaway, also ended the conversation...he turned to the caring tone again after i ended the talk which i did not reply. Will you be offended under such situation?
