What does 2010 mean to you?

For me 2010 will be a great year as i have just get myself a girlfriend after 8 month of loneliness.

yup. every year passes quickly. Just before i was still in my high school, then.. i've entered my college life.. now, i'm working already. soon will need to get married =D 2010 is the year that i believe will bring fortune and prosperity to all people. 2010 year really doesn't mean anything to me, but I do have a lot of goals for this year, Me and my fiance are going to marry this year, we have planed to join our life forever, I am wishing to have a wonderful marriage because we really love each other. I also want to work harder to achieve more recognizes in my career and improve everyday more, I also planed to go back to college to get my PhD degree, it is something that I have been trying to do since a long time ago. I would love to reach each of those goals.

Wow, cool! I'm Chinese too, and this discussion reminded me of a party I'm going to go to in order to celebrate (though I live in the U.S.).... For me though, 2010 will mark my graduation from high school and transition into college...hopefully setting me up for a successful career in the future...I think 2010 is gonna be a great year :)

to be honest the year 2010 is just another year no different to any of the other years 2009 2000 etc etc I treat the years as purely numbers and it means I am a year older and uglier lol,

I don't usually believe of the thought "new year - new beginning." Because indeed, everyday, when you wake up, it's already a new beginning. Well what does 2010 means to me? It only means that I'm getting older, maybe.lol And that I have been receiving 22 years of many blessings since the year I was born. If say new opportunity, well everyday is a new opportunity. I couldn't think of anything else worth meaningful.

Hello Lily! I don't really pay much attention when new year comes, but this year, I ofund it very special because I'm officially a graduate and now I have to secure a job to make ends meet. I waas born in the year of Tiger and it always make me smile to see tiger decorations around town since Chinese New Year is coming. Good luck to you Lily!

2010 means that it is a year closer for me to graduate, get a license, be a real adult and maybe get my own job. Also, I'm getting older by a year!

Coming into a new year has be refreshing in order to get a good start in the year. 2010 seems to have great promise. My outlook for a year since I've been an adult has never been brighter. That's Exciting! To have that feeling when everything around seems uncertain is promising. There's hope. Hope brings smiles, motivation, that go ol' go-get'em attitude. This is the year that I will get out of debt. Last year I made more of an effort to develop a social life, and now see my friends more often, but this will be the year that I will get my finances in order.

hi, Lily, I am from China too. Nice to meet you here. Well, the year 2010 does not mean too much for me, nor the coming spring festival. I am not much into any festival celebrations because virtually there are few celebrations expect eating in a big family reunion or eating in restaurant. So narrowly speaking, festivals mainly mean eating greedily all the time in China, at least in the northeastern part of China. This year is another round of challenge to me. I am working in a new company. There are many things awaiting me to establish and make it work. so the task is quite tough but challenging. I like that. I would like to see something build from the ground. As to wishes, one my my wishes is to get smart financially this year because I would like to change my investment schedule. I want to adjust the proportion a lot. To be more daring in it.

For me, 2010 means the beginning of a whole new decade. A chance to wipe the slate clean and make the best of the next ten years that are ahead. So far, it's been fantastic

abt my self the 2009 was reallyw rosty for me but just one month happend and we ahve entered the year 2009 so i am expecting the things to happen in smoother way and make my life colorfull untill 2009 my bussines had up & down now i feel i can grow in the new year with new inspiration and planning the thing accordingly to mean may 2010 as happy end and profitable year of the years and make some thing worthy in this year lets see how my fate is and my life go a head in this 2010

I have graduated from university in 2009-07,and just adapt my work and my new life,in 2010 i will work harder,there are so many challenges and uncertain things,i hope the coming of the new year!May me good luck,good health,good mood erverday!
