I wonder what your comfort food is.

What's your comfort food when you visit a fast food chain? Do you always look for spaghetti? Pizza? Burger? Fries? Donut? or fried chicken perhaps? I must have ordered fried chicken much more times than any other item a fast food can offer. And I usually pair it with rice and any beverage. I am aware we come from different places in the world and the fast food chain in your respective countries may have a totally different menu from what I've known. Please feel free to tell which food it is, it's not limited only to those examples I gave.

Normally in food courts and chains I like to have varieties( veg, non-veg, sea food, vegetables etc...) of barbeques and steaks, with many types of exotic sauces.

Veggies will always be best if not overcooked, not only for health reasons but also for presentation and taste. Some people even eat them raw but as for me, so far, the only veggies I can eat raw are carrots and lettuce dipped in mayonnaise. If you're familiar with a Chinese food chopsuey that has become a favorite of many Filipinos, that's one of my favorite viands too and I get turned off if the cook let all the veggies in it become soggy.

Potatoes have this appealing taste that even just a bit of salt can season it before friying. It's not difficult to prepare at all and it's one of the cheaper veggies around but it has a great deal of appeal and elegance when I look at it served in whatever shape or manner of cutting, whether it's thinly sliced or made into mojos or strips, even when mashed. And when it's in the bowl of whatever viand served, I really look for it.

I dun think there's a place whereby i'm able to find, burgers, pizzas, pastas, and fried chicken, all in one menu.. hehe ^_^ The best and wide variety of choices i can get from all mentioned above, will be from pizza hut.. lol =D
If i'm there, i will be bound to be ordering my favourite pan pizza, followed by spaghetti, and also garlic bread, together with grilled drumlets.. lol =D
And all of those, are just for my own consumption, no sharing is allowed.. lol =D

Popcorn, if not the cheapest is surely one of the cheapest snacks I've known. It's been a traditional theater snack only that I rarely go for it when I'm in theater. I would rather get potato chips or hotdog sandwich. I sometimes buy a pack of raw popcorn when I'm with my family and we just stay home. I enjoy cooking it because it's fun watching it pop in the casserole and what's more fun is the whole family get to share it afterwards.
