finding friends are easy. everybody should have a lot of friends either from school, activities, clubs, neighbors, and so many more. But how many is your best friend? I have 2 best friends and we are still best friends until now. I believe that its like the older people says: it is easier to find 100 enemies than 1 best friend. Do you agree with that? How many best friends do you have? Is there any easy way to have as many best friends as possible?

For me both are difficult. I don't make friends easily. On the other hand, people dismiss me as a normal person not worth of being an enemy :) So it's difficult.
But I think I'll make a best friend far before my enemies' count reaches to 100, as I tend to work on one specimen at a time and making it better.

Finding 100 enemies is easiest if you are looking for it! In my case, that is not so...

By definition, there must only one best friend. That person is your best buddy ever. All the others could be called close friends or just friends, depending upon how chummy and personal your are. Let's forget about the enemies. They pop up everywhere all the time.

Is it impossible for us to have more than 1 best friend? We can have lots of friends but we should have few best friends only but i do not agree that we should have one best friend.
You are right that enemies pop up everywhere anytime and place. =D
thanks for your response. Happy mylotting

I agree with you. It's easier to find 1000 enemies than keeping 1 best friends because but somehow, an enemy can be your best friend and vice versa too. I don't have any best friend because I don't really trust people around me. I have a bunch of friends and we share lots of things.. and that makes me feel better without worrying that my best friend might tell my secrets to others.

I find this topic so interesting! I am always telling my children it's better to have one fantastic, loyal best friend than 100 so so friends that will hurt you.
Today's society seems so ambivalent in so many areas. It seems like I am always hearing a young teen say oh my BFF one day and then the next day they are screaming mad because the BFF took her boyfriend. UGH DRAMA!!
I try to base my relationships on honesty and I figure if that is too hard for someone then it wasn't worth my time to have them in my life.
I do know that Best friends can come and go in your life. I have a very good friend that I considered my best friend for a couple of years and now while we don't really talk much I do value the time we shared and the experiences we learned. I love her analogy of it all when she says we have seasons. And I suppose our season has come and gone but I still would help her in anything if she needs it. :)

Great of you to teach something valuable like that to your children. You are sure a good mother. But i do think that we should find alot of friends in our life. Even though they might sometime hurt us, but not all of them will be that way. Sometimes they are caring for you especially when you are in trouble or when you are stress.
Thanks for your response. happy mylotting
