hi friends.there has been talk for a while that indian team sorely misses a medium paced all-rounder but a look at the domestic circuit tells a whole different story. lets have a look. Irafan Pathan: eventhough he doesnt have his devastating swing anymore,he swings the ball and more importantly he has developed variations and the result,a five wicket haul in the duleep trophy finals.no one can question his batting ability. Abhushek Nayar: scored a 100 in the finals and another against the travelling proteas, this young man sure got a lot of talent.with 5 wicket hauls twice in his career with an average of 30,he is not such a bad bet for an allrounder. Chandrasekar Ganapathy: the go to man for the tamilnadu team in the recent ranji trophy matches.in the last season,he got 553 runs in 5 matches with an average of 77 and it includes 2 hundreds.he bats at number 7 for his team.with a mdeium pace of mid 120;s and an average of 28 . these were the few i noticed.there could be many more all-rounders we may not know.i dont think its fair to say we dont have quality all rounders.

i truly do agree that india has not world class all rounder like kallis, afridi, flintoff, abdur razzaq. indian has got irfan pathan as an world class allrounder but i don't understand that why he can not make place in our all 3 formats. every cricketer has to face good and bad form. we must motivate to allrounder like irfan pathan . he has still great skill to swing the ball in both direction and has nice temperament to prove at low-order in the batting.

yes India have good all rounders but they are playing mostly in domestic circle not in the international cricket.Till now in international game India have yuvraj singh as the only all rounders. The peoples and former players are saying of that India has not good pacers not much about the all rounders.
