Is it a Myth????

It is the olden days belief that cut nails being unwanted, to be thrown away thing, it attracts negative energy. Hence it has to be dropped in the dustbin or outside the house. Moreover, by chance, especially when children are at home, it may get mixed up with some eatable and go into our stomach. Whatever may be the reason, it is told for a good reason. Why not follow it?

It's probably just an old wives tale. It is actually the first time that I have heard this myth. Why? What would happen if your fingernails fall on the floor of your house?
