Racism: Why do people have this sentiment? Are you racist?

Racism exists in the world in different forms. I am not a racist. Some people won't employ people of different races in their companies. The same happens with caste and relligion. Some people won't let their children marry people out of their own race. Many people have the tendancy that they want their race to dominate the world and they try to kill other races.

I get to respond to discussions not caring about who asked those questions. Whether they are american or from australia, and india, and other countries, it doesnt matter as long as Im joining the discussion. I do not know why they are racist but like you im not a racist myself. I have raced before on a game called need for speed but I am only a racer and not a racist. It is possible that someone is told as racist because they do not want foreigners to take the jobs that the native inhabitants need to have because those from other countries are swarming their own nation. So that can be the time that they become racist.

well it's just depend on how people react to what other races said and comment about their race. for me it's not important. i just do what i need to do and just think that i am better than them.

When you belong to a group called as the inferior race by the superior ones, you actually feel the pain of the discrimination. As an Asian, I heard a lot of stories that Caucasians treat other races differently, and definitely in a very negative way. Now why are they like that? I really don't understand that.

Well I believe everyone should have the same respect. Why because two people loved each other enough to produce you. It is a sad fact that most White people are considered racist, and everyone of color is stereotyped for something someone else did at another time in this world. No matter what race you are or where you come from...the only way to survive is to never prejudge others and treat them the same way you would want to be respected. Period.
