I do believe it. In fact I usually had apple cleansing diet when and I find it very helpful especially if one has problems in the kidney. Apples are very healthy food and in fact doctors advice people to eat apples every day. What is your opinion regarding this matter? I'm pleased to hear from you.

I don't believe it will keep the doctor away. But fruit is good for you so it will help your health in the long run. I think the saying should say eat some fruit a day and keep the doctor away. :)

I think the general message to eat fruit and veg is certainly true. Although you need more than just one apple!!! If more of our diet was made up of fruit and veg we'd be a lot more healthy. Also apples are supposed to be very good for your digestive system - especially the skin, so that helps with processing other foods. I love apples - really nice crisp ones. When I was at university I used to have to have meetings with someone that really annoyed me. I always used to take apples with me, and when I felt myself about to shout at him, I'd take a really big bite so that I had time to calm down before my mouth was empty enough to speak!!!
