How do you like Associated Content's new look?

I went over to read a friend's article, and noticed that Associated Content has a new look. They have changed both the account page and the articles pages. What do you think of the new change? One thing I noticed is that I can't see how much I earned in page views for the month, just the total earnings for the year. Am I missing something? What do you think of the changes?

I think it is far to jazzed up - to much "clutter". So much stuff everywhere that it is often hard to find the article to read and know what goes with it. A person that is not familiar with AC I can see could get confused and just go elsewhere. I know how it works so I read, but if I was a new person, I'd go elsewhere like eHow or something.I write for AC to, but don't really care for the changes. I think they are just trying to do to much in a small space.

I just went there today... and NO I do not like that they do not show my estimated earnings for the month. They show earnings history since inception, but I dont' care about that. What I earned 2 years ago doesn't matter now! I want to see what my page preformance estimate is for this month. Plus, it is still kind of cluttered. I'll keep working it,and I assume I will get used to it, but how do you see how much you have estimated to earn this month? Any ideas?

This is my biggest complaint as well. There is no way to monitor if it changes either from day to day. I wasn't able to find this information anywhere. That piece of information (current page view earnings) is the one thing I checked every day on Associated Content. It's essential information to me.

I know. I don't check every day, twice a week usually. But How do we know if we are getting good trafic or not? How can we know if what we are doing to get the traffic is working, or do we change our tactics? I guess manually we could jot down the total that they do show and then just every day do the math and see what was done yesterday... if it posts that often/quickly. I don't know why they'd cancel such a simple, but so useful thing!

I just started, and just submitted my second article to them. I love them so far! Because I just found out about them, I didn't even notice a change in the appearance of the site. I think it looks nice, though. I somehow managed to see how many people have viewed the article that was published yesterday - 22. I'm not sure where I saw that, but I somehow managed to find it. lol. Hopefully you can find it, too.

Well, you will have no problems adjusting then. Actually, the new design is something very similar to what they tried out for the holidays, giving the articles a special look. The biggest changes are to the account page.
I hope you do well at Associated Content. There are a lot of very helpful people on the site. Make friends, read others' articles and you will see it reciprocated to your own. Good luck!

I dont really like the new layout of associted content. It has changed since yahoo bought out associated content. I was worried however that they would make more drastic changes and they really havent. I am very happy that they didnt make any more changes. I really liked the old layout but that is probably because I have been using the site for years and got used to it.
