A turn on my successful road / myLot

I've recently received a "D" in Spanish as a semester grade and I've heard that UC's do not look at "D"s. Is there any way to still raise my chances besides or after re-taking the course? Is there anything extra I can do to make it look better on my application than my "D"?

hi david i think extracurricular activities can add value to your addmisions your case reminds me of myself because i was granted admission due to my extracurricular scores. cheers friend.

Can you tell me what you did? I want to do more extracurricular activities, but I don't really know anything that might fit me or be fun. So, if what you did was enjoyable please tell me what you did, and how much of it you did. Thanks in advance.
