How to remembe new english words?

Hi everyone,I am not an English speaker.I live in shanghai.I am working in a foreign company.So English is very important to me.I found its difficult to remember a new word.As long as I dont use it for a while,I would forget it easily.Can you give me some tips or ways that how to remember a new word deeply?

I used to volunteer in a nursing home and I liked to be able to a few words in each patients own language and there were quite a fe different cultures there so I carried a little note book around with me with the english word and what the way to say the word looks like for me to say...I don't have a goos memory so this is the only way I could do it....I hope you work something out...

well .. . try to make sentences or picturise it ... well picture it and make it connected wid sumthin u like....
and there you u just learned a new word :))

Hello.We have the same purpose of signing up here.I haven't past the CET-6 examination.How about you?I reckon that if we often use the words,they will be fogot difficultly.
