Do you use genuine windows XP??

Hey friend, I will tell you one thing, Individual person can use the pirated version bcoz when the individual person uses the software then only it becomes famous.......... but for the companies we must use genuine software.

no.i think its practically not possible to use GENUINE XP.as a single user system we can use it but if use are going to use multiple OS in ur system then its not possible to have GENUINE Copy of the Software in the same system

NO, i don't buy genuine copies of any MS OS. I can easily download torrents for that. Tho I had one genuine copy of windows 95 back in the days.lol

Nope, I use genuine windows 7. It's way better than XP and Vista. You should upgrade.

My first computer had a pirated version of windows XP on it. It's much cheaper (free) and easy to get. I think windows should first make a really good OS, and then people would start paying for it. My mother uses windows XP where she works and she has a genuine copy, because they have to. There's really no difference between the genuine and pirated copy, none of them is any better. Price is the only factor why my first computer had the pirated version installed.

I don't use genuine Xp but I had a genuine Vista before my laptop got stolen due to break in. Funny thing is, besides the security updates, I don't see any real advantage of getting a genuine one as I'm a home user and I only use it for my self and family. Besides that, the after sales service at my country is horrible. They did not answer my question directly when I asked whether it is possible to get another copy of Vista and instead they just copy and paste the sales and service link with no explanation at all.

Both of my computers came with XP installed, so they are bound to be genuine. That is what I would always choose, as well.
