Pursuing a career doesn't mean having to chose your job over your life. If you know how to strike balance between work and your personal life, then you won't have to pick one over the other. hi there my co-mylotters. do u ever experience to be in a situation that because of your career , your personal life become affected? or vice-versa. ?

hello novelcai, yeah i agree with you, we can strike a balance between the two, career & personal life as long as we know how to manage our time wisely & know our priorities. well i have experienced it as well, i have stopped working for more than or about 5 years now, its because i have to go with my husband in his work assignment. and since i marry him and he's back in his duty, i have no choice but to stop working coz being his wife would not allow me to work anymore. so my personal life, my relationship ith my husband really affects my career...but i am happy.

hi there ckyera :)) mmmm it seems that you enjoying now being a full time house wife? how was the adjustment period? is it difficult? we really cant serve two master at a time. sometimes we need to choose one but theres some situation that you cant give up any of those. like me im working in here in a city while my baby stays at my mom's place there in the province. i want to be a full time mom or just spend more time/quality time to my baby. but i cant stop working because he is the reason why i need to work hard. :)

hmmm, yeah i enjoy my life now & i am happy & contented with it. actually at first its really difficult, specially i am used to seeing & talking to different people everyday in my work before, then all of a sudden we are assigned in the province here i just have few neighbors & i am usually alone in the house...hehe sometimes i just cry coz i also miss my parents, but anyway it just last for some months and thanks to my husband & some friends tha i met that they make my adjustment period easier... in your case, well since you are single mom, you really have no choice but work for your child...but i think whenever you are with your kid, you spend quality time with him...actually i admire moms who was able to do such things. working while keeping their babies close to them. close as in emotionally close & attached.

A life includes career and other things like family. Your career makes your life. You really have no choice but to live that life.
