Hello Mylotters, So do you really read other people's comments when you post yours in a discussion? To be honest, most of the time, i don't. I just read through what the orignal poster said, then reply mine own ideas. That's why sometime there are so many similar answers that we did not aware of.

Yeah, I read all the comments that other mylotters post on my discussions. And if I have something to add or say, I also respond to those comments. It's a good way of increasing your posts and generate a conversation thread by doing that.

Yes, I do read others' comments. Personally, I find it interesting to read and see their perspective on a question, on an issue.

Well, I look at them in my own discussions of course. In other people's discussions, maybe if I feel like it. I never do so before posting though. I do not want to really be influenced by the posts of others before I write a response. Always after the fact when I post. I do agree that there are a striking amount of similar responses. Great minds think a like I guess.

Yes I think its important to know the people taking part in the dicussion posts before writing anything and also will contribute to have a highest rating.

Hi vivianchen, for saving time I mostly don't read others post or comment when sharing my feeling and idea with the discussion writer. I haven't read the first response in this discussion as well Actually we are encouraged to read others responses or comments before typing ours. So that we won't repeat the same view again. If my typing speed is rather slow I won't be the second response in this topic. Anyway it's easier to be responses on the first page of any discussion. This could avoid to have repetition of content in the same topic Anyway, I still like to read others responses as well as comment if the topic is really interests me. There are lots of fun to see what other say in the topic..... Have a nice day and happy posting

I would always read what other people have to say, and if not I would always read the first page of comments at the very least. I find it important as you allows for you to have a more informed opinion before posting, and prevents me from repeating what others have to say. Though somewhat ironic since this is what some people said already....
