If you could start all over again, would you study harder?

School life is sweet and bitter, full of joyfulness and sadness. Some students study hard for a goal, mainly academic goal; some just take their time to enjoy the schoolhood. When I was in school, I used to be a top student in academic study but I did not work too hard actually. I only listened carefully in class. So if I could make it once more, I would put fewer energy on academic study but some other intetests and practical skills. so if you could start all over again, would you study harder?

I think I would study hard BUT, learn to socialize and have fun as well. You see, I think all through out my school days, I was focused on being on top that I sorta ignored mostly everything else. I learned the hard way, that sometimes, good grades won't get you everything in life. I had a hard time making friends since they usually see me as a bookworm. Don't take me wrong, I am not that of a social loser. I do have friends but I can't 'jam' with the rest.
I totally agree with you to put some time to other interests as well. That builds our self-confidence and help us succeed in life.

I would answer yes. I am already in my senior year in college and how I wish I could turn back time and I could replace one of my grade in my major subject. It sucks. grrr...

Indeed I would. When I originally began my college career (I was 17), I studied hard and made nearly all A's but I avoided social functions and wasn't involved in any extracurricular activities. I regret that now, and not just because participating in such activities (extracurricular) is good for the resume, but also for the experience I could've gained. I think I could've done it all, good grades, work, and extracurricular if I'd just been a little more brave.
Well, there's always my next degree... ;)
