Do you know different meanings of different flowers?

I don't know more about it. And I just know the meanings of rose and lily:) If my friend lost somebody she loved very much, I won't give her flowers because it may remind her of the past memories and it may upset her. If my friend is in the hospital, I may give he/she various kinds of flowers. But I may give he/her fruits rather than flowers because at least fruits are good for their health. I love China

Hi zhouxi, I thought yellow is for friendship, white is for peace and quiet which is what I would send to my friend who lost somebody she loved. At the hospital though I would take a colorful bouquet especially pinks, as they should bring a smile on my friend's face. Hope these is the way the colors of flowers are interpreted.

I know yellow roses are signs of friendship. So it's may be appropriate to send your friend a bunch of yellow roses while he or she's in hospital. Or you can just consult those ones who sell flowers.
