disclaimer - in the interests of keeping mylot honest please be aware that some of this may not be true

Well, I was going to suggest a deer, with beautiful eyes and very graceful, then I remembered their affinity for colliding with vehicles on the hiway, so nix that. I could be a squirrel and pick on my little brother. He is convinced that the squirrels are out to get him. I happen to know, however that they have now hired the deer to do their dirty work. He and his wife have had three (at least) deer/vehicle occurrences. Well, make me into . . . a butterfly, I guess. Make me colorful and flamboyant.

I could be a luna moth. I like that green color, plus then I could honestly be a Lunatic.

I´d like to be a unicorn (so beautiful!) but clearly I would have to go back to another world too. Do you have that power?I started to think about being turned into an animal and discovered that human beings are getting rid all all the rest of the animals in the planet. So, please, not because I´m a bad person, but because I want to survive, turn me into a scorpion. Those guys are quite witty at keeping alive in all sorts of surroundings. Wouln´t it be nice to be a cheeta in other circumstances? Or a deer?
But I don´t dare: I´d get killed in no time.
By the way, I´m already turning into a whale without your help. I should eat less and do more exercise.
Hug!

How about a mithological place in which Gods, goddess and all kinds of beautiful animals roamed in peace? We would have to put Pandora in jail though. Just like Eve, curious and unwilling to obey. I would do what they did in that world as I would not be able to open any kink of box. Not that I wouln´t love to.

Marguicha, speaking of books that are supposed to be for children, I loved reading The Unicorn Chronicles. There are three books that I know of in the series so far, but the series is not complete yet. In this series of books, there are portals between Earth and another land that the unicorns fled to when they were being hunted here on Earth. There has to be one unicorn on the Earth at all times, though, or sadness and desolation will overtake all living things, especially humans, and the world will end in despair. You could be that one unicorn. By the way, you might enjoy reading these books, too.

I want to be turned into a shape-shifter. Then, I can change into any animal that I want at a moments notice if need be, although I hear that shape-shifting is quite painful as all the bones in your body have to be re-arranged, so I would only use my new power when it was really necessary.

I don´t know if you like to read books, and books that are supposed to be for children. I do and they are not. I would recomend "The wizard of Earthsea". It´s a wonder.

Marguicha - thank you for the recommendation. I will have to look for it, since I do enjoy reading, and I don't particularly care whether or not the book is considered to be for children. In fact, sometimes those are my favorite reads, because they are so imaginative and let you escape from reality far better than some of the books supposedly for adults.
Rabbit - I think that you should be able to do it, because technically you are only turning me into one animal, and all the others I would be doing myself. If I can't be a shape-shifter, though, then I guess that I will have to think about it and get back to you.

Hi jb, wouldn't mind being squirrel. Humans are not likely to kill me and eat me. Dont know many predators - may be cats, but I will keep as far away from people with cats as possible he he. :) The other alternative is rabbit of course. But I cant be as cute as you are, can I? he he. Have a nice day. :)

I want to be a dragon like Fuchur in the Never Ending Story. Not sure if he was called something else in English, but it's only one cool dragon in Neverending story. The one that Bastian invents is just stupid and probably gets killed by Held Hynrech.

Tempting, jb, but I can't think of any animal without predators or even any animal I'd like to be for more than a few seconds. I suppose being a pet dog like Gissi, with a Mum who adores me without question might be OK - but then I'd be losing so much. Mankind IS the most intelligent animal (even though some make that hard to believe) and my lifestyle suits me.
So, thank you most sincerely for your kind offer, but I think I'd rather be me.
Sorry to be so boring, but I wouldn't swap places with anything or anybody.

And of course we have predators too, but I'd still rather be me.

hi blue bunny no not a toad, but a unicorn with a blue horn,as I have always had a thing about unicorns and the mythical stories about them, so perhaps for a short time I could be a white unicorn with a blue horn. of course some may not be true at all but still what fun. I am sitting here expecting my son and wondering if Im being stood up so to have some fun now is just what I ordered for myself. he he he. i am a unicorn for a little while in my wild imagination.

What a hard choice! I adore parrots but then I may not be treated well so you would have to provide me with a good owner if I was in captivity.
A plus would be that I could communicate with the person looking after me when I wanted to.
If I get home early then I watch the parrots come in to 'their' tree in my garden at dusk and this always delights me. I've had parrots as pets but only the ones that have been injured when they fellout of their nest.
But then I adore Dolphins too! Could I have a go at being both so then I could decide?

Hello, Judith. One of my favourite places in the world is Ruddesheim in Germany, so can you turn me into a Lorelei, one of the sirens who sat on the rocks and shipwrecked the sailors after luring them with their beautiful singing? I'd be in my favourite place, and I'd be a beautiful singer - which would be a great improvement. And I promise I wouldn't harm the sailors - I'd make them very welcome, if you know what I mean.
As Ruddesheim is also where Asbach Brandy is made, I'd like you to arrange for regular deliveries of the stuff to my rock, please. I know vodka is my favourite tipple, but when in Rome ...

*sings at top of her voice* Ich weiss nicht was soll es bedeuten *decides that as singing is tune is not really my thing, I'd better skip to the end* und das hat mit ihrem Singen, die Lorelei getan.
Translation for those who haven't been singing Lorelei in German class: the Lorelei did that with her singing. (drowning the sailors)
So you can't sing in tune either? ;-)

Being a shape shifter would be so cool. You could become any animal you wanted and I would be able to get away with anything.. HEHEHE... I do like all kinds of animals on Earth. But if I would choose one it would have to be a bird. They are really smart and resourceful animal and can fly in the air.

A dolphin would be nice. But since you mention the word mythological, I'd opt for invisible and teleporting anytime. I can be anywhere at any time and being invisible too. I can discover so many places, unknown things, but only for the good of all. Alright, lest I sound like Spiderman, lol..I'd better stop. Scoot away, blue bunny..

Hi, jb78000. I don't really want to be turned into any kind of animal. But, if I had to, I would like to be turned into a rabbit. I want to be soft and fluffy. I think that I would like to hop around all day. It will keep me busy always moving around some.

I love your disclaimer. Glad you included it...
I'd like to be a fish please. I feel like swimming, maybe in a nice cool sea somewhere lovely and warm. Even though I'd be a fish I would appreciate the beautiful beaches and scenery all around me. Oh, I don't want to be caught by fishermen though, or eaten by birds. Maybe I can be a fish with an evil stare, so I can scare off my attackers just by glancing at them.

I would want to be rabbit. Cute, smart, fluffy, and fast.
but don't eat me coz i will run away very fast that you will not be able to catch me. then i'll hide myself behind a tree so you won't see me.
being rabbit is fun. Would you turn me into a rabbit? ^^
