Those netbooks actually have 128 MB ram, 2GB flash harddrives, and 266-300 mHz processors. Most of them are running Windows CE 5.0 or 6.0. You'll be able to check your email, some light web browsing, some light office work (they come with MS office for winCE preinstalled). Windows CE should run adequately fast for the CPU power and RAM they have, but don't expect anything more out of them. They will not run normal windows software, as they require software written specifically for WinCE. They have a SD card reader and wireless card installed. So they would be perfect if you just want to check your email or look something up on the go. It's possible to get one for around $80 now on ebay. My only concern is their durability. If WinCE image gets corrupted or something else goes wrong, you are pretty much screwed, unless you know how to fix it yourself.
Hope this helps

That is a really good price for a netbook and if they actually work, that is an awesome deal. Actually I'm going to check it out on eBay right now! For that kind of money, it would be worth trying. Normally they run 2-3 times that amount of money I believe. I've been thinking about one myself because of the convenient size. My laptop is nice, but much larger to tote around. I think I just might give it a try. Thanks for the information.

Hi there,
I've seen these netbooks on ebay too and they come from China. But when I look at the spec, I was skeptical if the netbook will work or not.
No doubt it's very cheap and affordable but a 25mb of RAM? I've never heard of such low RAM. At the back of my mind is the question, would the netbook be usable at all?
I personally think that the best place to purchase electronic products like computers and televisions is still at a brick and mortar retail store where you can try out the product and have a hands on experience. It may be a little expensive but at least you're satisfied. And customer service is very important for me when buying electronics.
