Bad sleeping habits

You know when you fall asleep in everyday in one period, eventually your body gets used to it and it becomes your sleeping period. But recently I've been getting bad grades in those periods, so I was wondering, what do you do in order to stay awake and/or change your sleeping habits. Today, I found out that doing your homework kind of keeps you more awake, but still I eventually fall asleep. Please help me :D.

Sleep early and wake up early. My mom and dad would always tell me. I don't have any good sleeping habits. in fact I sleep around 4am and wakes up at 1 pm. 1pm go to school up until 7-8pm. What i usually do if I want to sleep early, I would get any book and start reading. within 5 minutes my eyes would close.. ^.^ I easily get bored reading books. (but it still depend on what kind of book I'm reading..)

Hahaha, books are boring, and I have a lot of work to do. I sleep around 10-12pm and wake up at 7am for school. School ends at 3, and I stay at home till around 3:40pm and then I go to GCC(Glendale Community College) to make up for World History. Every time I go there I stay till around 8pm, and then when I get home I eat so it's around 9pm, I take a shower, 10pm and then I have more school homework to do. :(

sometime it happens with me. I couldn't sleep at night. But i feel sleep at the day. Then i have decided to change it.
As usual i couldn't sleep at night. But at the day i didn't sleep. I went to outside. Shopping center then restaurant. Though i was feeling so tried. But it's ok. When i come back my room then it was around 8pm. Just remove my cloth and fresh up and just fall in the bed,within 5 minute i was in deep sleep. Next day at the morning i wake up. This way i change my sleepy bad habits into good habits.
So you can try this way i hope it will work.

Wait so what you do, is stay active, and don't stay still which would make you sleepy and when you get home, you're already tired so you just clean up and sleep? I cannot really do that, because I am a student in high school (sophomore) and I can't really go around with friends hanging out, because I have so much homework.
