I hate flash

I'm talking about camera flashes.
Whenever I take a picture with my digital camera and the automatic flash is on, the pictures come out reallyyyyy unflattering- my hair (which is really black) gits these weird shine spots on it and looks like synthetic, Barbie-doll hair. Whenever I turn the flash off, the pictures turn out ok, but its really a pain because the automatic flash comes back one after a picture is taken with the flash turned off.
Do you get really yucky pictures when you use flash on your home camera, too? Or is it just because my camera is a super cheap one, lol. w

My camera gives good picture. No shining in the hair. But what I do not like with the flash is that, people will close their eyes for the flash and the photo will be like blind people's photo.

I use flash on my camera,And picture come goods. I don't know what's wrong with you cam. As i know if we on a flash then picture become more clear and sharp. That's why we use flash. Well i think you should check your camera by any other person who knows good about camera or any technical person.

using flash on cameras make your pictures look flat and unflattering. Natural light or other support lighting will be nice as it enhances your features. Proper positioning of lighting will also work to create beautiful pictures.
Most cameras turn flash automatically whenever there is insufficient lighting and when the camera is set to automatic. If you camera has a manual option, you can permanently or easily control the flash functions when using it instead of automatic.
