hello lampar...
actually i don't have much fear in my life. but of course i also feel scared even on some small things...hehe human nature!
but one thing that i really fear is the day that i will become a burden to my family or to anybody else...that's something that i don't want to happen. i don't like the feeling of being useless & yeah being a burden to anyone else due to some reasons like disease...or what.
i hope this will not happen to me coz i still don't know how to face it.
but for know what i just do is to pray and hope that this thing will not come to me...

Yes, having a serious disease is bad itself and also will burden family member or your love one, because they have to spend much time to look after you, i also wish it will never have to happen to either one of us in the future. This fear of your is quite realistic since the probability of getting a serious disease is not low nowadays but also chances of getting cure is quite high too when medical science is advancing yearly. We just have to remain optimistic and keep our faiths steady and pray for the grace of God.
Thank for sharing your view. My friend!

yup & i guess no one will like to be a burden to their loved ones, its not only they will spend much time & effort to take care of us, but of course they will also spend a lot of money! even if science & technology is advancing, still its not cheap to get cure for some disease...
well, if i will be just a disable person with un curable disease that will bring much burden to my family, i would want to die instead of suffering...hehe
but anyway, you are right, just be optimistic & put our faith to God. with Him, nothing id impossible...

Well right now I think my greatest fear is really losing something over like money, property or something that have value for me. I also have fear in gambling something like putting money in business or taking risk that deals greatly on money. I do hope I could counter that because I know money will not grow if you leave it on yourself but it will work for you if you know how to put it and let it grow for you.

Well one lesson I learned about fear is that it is mostly created by your own primal instinct. What you can do about it is sometimes face it and confront it rather than avoid it. Avoiding it will somehow aggravate that further like you are trying to make the fear to go deeper in your system. What I learned from a seminar is that face it and make the failures not be a tool for you to be discourage in life but an instrument to make you stronger. I know it is not easy but in time you might finally conquer your own fears if you will persist on wanting to eradicate it in your system.

One thing i find out about fear is after i overcome the feeling, then it is just nothing, many times it is our mind tricking us, it is less of what actually can hurt us but rather it is the uncertainty that created the fear. I agree in some occasions, confronting our fears is better than avoiding them.

If i would to be you in this case, i probably will try to lower my bet on gambling or investment on business to make me feel less fear, knowing the fact i will not lose it all when bad luck strike, i can still depend on some of the money i have to survive. I don't know how you deal with your fear, but i am sure you can figure it out soon or later to overcome it as time pass.
Thank for your response. Happy mylotting to you!!

i dont have any fear before. its like que sera sera what will be will be.... but i changed so much since i had my son. i am so scared to get fired or to lose my job for i dont like my son to hunger, i am scraed of the last flood that happened to us last september, i fear also that my mom cant not surpass the sickness that pinned her to a wheel chair. as i matured i think i became a scared person but i guess it is for the better for it makes me strive more and to be aware more.

we are more responsible when we matured and while we are still young we care less. when we are more responsible we take charge and have more on our shoulder and our heads. i am slowly losing my hair because of this. har har har. lucky i only have one child har har har.

I guess less responsibility means you have less to lose, indirectly means less burden on you to fear on losing anything important after all, there is nothing for you to lose make you take greater risks and can afford to overlook any fear in whatever you do.

Yes, Pal!! As we grow older, it seem like we are subjected to more fears than when we are young. May be as one has more responsibility to shoulder, like having children, aging parent or even bigger family to take care, then he has more to worry how to deal with them whenever calamity strike, all these becoming part of a greater fear we face as we grow old. When i am young, there is so little fear i had and i usually can overcome it easily but it is quite a different scenario when getting old now. Sound like we are going to have more headaches as we grow because we fear more instead of less..... lol...
Thank for sharing your fears. Cheer !!

Here are a few of my fears:
-- Hell
-- Losing my parents
-- Imprisonment, either physical or mental
-- Barack Obama's radical socialist agenda (and no, I'm not joking around with this one)
-- Heights
-- Enclosed spaces
-- Running out of books to read (I'm not joking with this one, either...I'm genuinely afraid that I'm going to run out of books to read and will be forced to buy these stupid e-books)

I have this unexplainable fear of being alone in public places, and riding in public vehicles probably because I became so much used to riding a private car. I was not like this back then so most probably the comfortable life we are quite experiencing now is the contributing factor to this fear. Plus all the bad news around the community are what's making me fear more. One Bible verse that talks about fear really caught my attention. It says that "Love overcomes all fear." being so enclosed with my self.built fears, this verse has been my guide to MOST, if not all of my decisions.:) It helped me a lot overcome my fears.

May be you have terrible experience before while riding in public vehicle, that make you fear of being alone in public places and in public vehicle. If not, psychologist might be able to explain why you think like this, a trained therapist will have a better understanding of your unexplainable fear on this.
Thank for your response in here. and continue happy Mylotting , my friend!!

Yes, you sound like you have too many fears in your life, there are just too many to list all in this discussion, don't worry, that is perfectly fine with me. May be you will make up your mind from running away in all the situations, then you will reduce many of your fears into just a couple later. I wish the best of everything , my friend! First and forth most, you can overcome those many things that scare you and don't have to live in fear anymore.
Thank for your response here, my friend!

hi lampar! i believe every people have his own fear/s. there is no exception to that. its not about how brave you are, but its about how strong your faith to GOD is. even the bravest person has his weak point and fears in life. but i believe that even people will consider you weak but you have strong faith in GOD then what to fear about. just have faith in God and all your fears will melt away.

i think everyone have something that they fear.
and for me, my biggest fear is when i fail to become successful in the future. and cant live my life with my family. too difficult to imagine if that happened. but if fate had written down like that, i can only go through it with resignation. and i should be ready with destiny.

Everyone is scared of something, whether something big or small, whether they know it or not. I personally can say that I'm afraid of rejection. I haven't tried asking a girl out, or is outgoing, because of this fear. What I do, is confirm my outcome, or weigh my chances. So I pretty much try out everything to test out the outcomes and if the outcomes weigh a lot more towards the positive side then I go for it. Recently, I've been trying to be more outgoing, and started, well taking chances(?) :D. Life is a lot more fun, and yeah, I think that's how I'm dealing with my fear. :D

I wish you good luck , my friend! Every rejection is a lesson for you to learn, if you keep trying and correct your move, you will overcome rejection and soon girl will want to go out with you even before you realize it. You are right, life is a lot more fun than it seem to be, get out and be outgoing and don't let rejection put you down. OK...Pal!!
Thank for your response , my friend.

Once you are bitten by bee, it may have scare the hell out of you, i understand that feeling of fear on bee. It is quite common among people who had been stung by bee before and they are scare whenever bee is around, that is hard to overcome the fear.
