My baby boy turned 1 yesterday ! The years are going to fast. I feel so special on my childrens birthdays. The memories come flooding back each year when their birthday comes. I believe those days are special for moms as much as her children. Its not about the presents and getting the party ready. Not about the balloons or cake. Its all about the love you never knew you could feel for someone else thats so strong when you hold that tiny newborn. Then each year as you watch them grow you cant believe its gone by so fast.

i'm not a mom yet, but i always remember how special it is for my mom everytime i celebrate my birthday. i'm already turning 26 this year and still she feels overwhelmed with the fact that 26 years ago she gave birth to me. i'm not an only child either, but i'm her first born. so, belated happy birthday to your baby boy! and keep up the good work! :)

Happy belated birthday to your son.
I've got two little ones of my own, they are seven and three now and I feel nostalgic for the long nights and the one on one time that we had together when they were little all the time. It really is amazing to look at them as each year has passed and see how different they are from when they were small. My son is the biggest difference, in just three years he has gone from being tiny and chubby to tall and skinny. He's gone from having black hair to being blond. It just amazes me.

Hi dorannmwin,
Yes I have already noticed changes in mine as well. My oldest daughter(11 yrs) had black hair when she was born, its now blonde in the summer and darkens to a light brown in the winter. And my 8 year old has lost all of her baby curls. It is amazing how fast they grow up! Have a great weekend.

Well my son will be turning 1 in just under 2 months, and i absolutely cant wait for that milestone to come. It is a big milestone not only for kids but for the parents as well, especially the mother. I know once his first birthday comes then there are so many things to come afterwards. Him running around, talking, learning, and just discovering the world, and it seems like the 1st birthday is the begining of all of those milestone.
I truly cant wait, and i plan on going big for his birthday, i want to share with all of our friends and family how proud i am of my son, and how bright and smart he is, and how he has such loving parents.
