What do you think of islam?

Islam is beyond a religion. It's a way of life. Those rules some of you mentioned is actually a manual on how should we carry on with our lives. It's like a manual of a car. You can drive a car anyway you want, but in order to drive safely, and to make sure the car is in good condition, you will have to read and understand the manuals. As simple as that. Yes, there are some of a number of extremists in Islam which some of you think really like to resort to violence. So take this analogy of a tiger. A tiger won't attack human unless human invaded its territory, right? So what they have been doing right now is a form of retaliation to the injustice caused by people who resent the religion. Do you know that the highest number of people dying comes from the Muslim countries? If you believe that you are created by God, will you be brave enough not to abide by His rules? We aren't, and that's why we try our best to be obedient. Besides, He promised us Heaven. Just follow His rules and we'll be fine. That is why you see people pray 5 times a day, not 3, and cleans themselves before going to pray. If you really want to know about Islam, find a Muslim who is really knowledgeable and is able to answer your questions. don't just listen to people with no authenticity towards the subject.

They must be teaching love and peace but they I dont know maybe teach hatred destruction etc etc. That is what I think of Islam. Yeah and this too! "Cover up these ladies(sisters and mothers)(in black)(no part should be visible) Oh that lady is damn good!(The lady not in black, not their mothers and sisters)Lets get us some fun!"

islam to me is just simply a religion, same as catholic or christian etc etc though I know to a lot of people they associate islam with terrorism and I can sort of understand the reason why they do. But personally I don't every religion has their extremists that hide behind religion and tarnishes religions by their own actions. Even us catholic's and christians have been guilty in the realms of history the holy wars, northern ireland etc etc so islam to me is purely a religion same as all religions around the world a set of belief's in its purest form.

I am an Islam. when I hear bout this comparing to terrorism, I feel sad because it is like we too are considered terrorists.

When i hear the word islam i didn't feel anything bad it is same as another religion in the world exist. Some person who take the name of god and kills the people for his own purpose. Don't think that the people belonging to islamic are very ungrateful.

i strongly say islam is not terrorist. we have a nice religion which only distribute love among each other

hi! The first that comes to my mind when I hear the word "islam"is the realigion. But I think it is the most corral religion in the whole world, because Iahve never heard about some of the other religions to oblige its followers to observe so many rules and i will give an example- the turks- they must go to mosque 5 times per day, before they go into the mosque they must wash their feet on the fountains in front of the mosque, they must pray 3 time i think per day and many many other rules they have to observe if they want to go in heaven!
