We all want to get fit so you can use my programme without charge. I copied this from something someone sent me.
1) Beating around the bush
2) Jumping to conclusions
3) Climbing the walls
4) Swallowing my pride
5) Passing the buck
6) Throwing my weight around
7) Dragging my heels
8) Pushing my luck
9) Making mountains out of molehills
10) Hitting the nail on the head
Can you think of any others? Or which one do you need to exercise the most? I think that with me I need to do the number 7 exercise much more to make some kind of improvment and definitely number one too.

You would have to advance to the next level before that option appears

I love your sense of humour- and you are right. No such things as a freelunch is probably true

hi cynthiann I think you have covered all the bases.Lets see I am bad in beating around the bush and in jumping to conclusions too. Also I must be really doing no. 7 as so far I have not made any inroads on my weight and on cutting down on carbs either. and am awful about 9 making mountains out of molehills. I have this wild imagination which is great when used rightly but not when I make a little problem into something overwhelming. Thanks for giving us this free of charge. I imagine all us mylotters will find something there that they may need work on.

You are very welcome Hatley. I have gained some strength as I can walk up three flights of stairs without huffing and puffing but have only lost 4 pounds in nearly two weeks. But I have gone from 2 mins of aerobic exercise to doing ten minutes quite easily so I am pleased with this. The cutting down of food is hard though. Thanks for a great response

How about along with throwing your weight around... carrying your own weight. Cruising for a bruising... or is that not a good enough exercise?
Hmm... I think #4 is something everyone should work on.

Nice discussion. I have been sitting here trying to think of more to add to the list what about bending over backwards or going over the edge? The latter is one I’ve practiced time and time again! I used to do number 9 too much and I am learning to be calmer and more positive. I could probably think of more but I seem to be running around in circles...Oh, there’s another one! Great exercise program!

Love it Paula - I never thought of those. I'm always bending over backwards

Great contribution Kathy. I often beat around the bush - at least that is what my boss tells me
