How fast can you type? I'm not sure how fast can I type, but I once saw my mother's typing course certificate, and her speed was 39 words per minute. She said nowadays people do not type with all their fingers like she did. Some of her colleague can type very fast with only their index fingers.
I usually use 4 fingers to type, 2 on each side, but sometimes I can go for 6 fingers. I wish to learn how to type with all 10 fingers.
How fast can you type? Does anyone know how to type with all fingers?

we were taught how to type with all 10 fingers back in high school and that's how I learned how to type with all my fingers without looking at the keyboard. I enjoyed it so much and since I'm always on the computer typing (I love to write), I learned how to type really fast too. I can type 60 wpm. It's great :D

I currently type about 62 wpm but I have a goal of reaching at least 80 wpm. Typing is a valuable tool when you work in office environments and it never hurts to keep practicing until you get as fast as you possibly can ;)

I have never taken any formal training other than programs I purchased such as Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing and alot of hours of practice to get to the speed I am up to now. I am currently enrolled in a program that encourages the practice of typing and provides programs to utilize in order to increase speed and accuracy.
