it would depend on what part of the beach she would be going. if she is in the shark infested part or the rocky part, definitely, even without her period, she would be attacked by sharks. but in shallow areas, where the water is not deep enough for a shark to be in, she would be perfectly safe. and when wet, a girl's period temporarily stops.

Because of the blood? I am not sure. If I have menstruation I do not go to the water. Haven't tried and I will never. However, we don't have to prove it. Girls no what to do when they have menstruation, to stay away with water. So we will never know if we go on the beach and if shark will attack us. anyhow, a menstruation will not flow when you are in the pool or beach, that is according to a doctor I know.

Hi, healthbeauty. Yes, a shark will still attack her regardless if her menstrual cycle is on. If anything, the shark will be more sensitive when he smells or sees her blood. I would never go swimming in a ocean if I was bleeding or not bleeding. It is just too many deadly sea animals that are around.

i cannot even think of any woman who would wish to get in the water knowing she's giving out blood. not only is it unhygienic but it's plain yucky. no offense.
