If you like a blog, do you click on some ads to give something back?

This is something I've been thinking about recently and just started doing - not sure if it will be very helpful or not but thought it would be a nice thing to do. When I visit a blog or website that I find helpful I try to click on a few of the ads listed within the site (assuming they are using adsense or an equivelant) so they may be able to earn a little bit from my visit. Does anyone else do the same? I don't know what my few clicks actually achieve but I feel it's a little like giving something back...
