Does it make you feel special when people remember you here?

Hi lecanis! I definitely remember you! I had a similar experience when I was offline for a while because of personal things going on in my offline life, and with my pregnancy. I then came back to MyLot after being MIA for just about a year, And I started a discussion titled Remember Me? and it was basically an update announcing the daughter we had on October 7th. I was shocked at how many people did remember me and how many people responded. It does make you feel special to know that you were not only remembered, but missed as well! And on that note I missed you, and thought about and wondered how you were doing from time to time! Is nice to see your back MyLotting once again!

Hi lecanis. You are not someone who is easily forgotten. You were one of my first friends when I joined here more than three years ago. I enjoyed many discussions/debates with you. Even though we are just about opposite in a number of ways, we respect each others opinions. When I returned here a few months ago, after a two year absence, I noted that while your account was still open, you hadn't been here for some time. I'm pleased to see you here again.

i'm on here most days,but i do like it when people remember my previous posts,or ask how i am and stuff,it makes me feel good

To be honest, I didnt notice if people remember me or not but I think a few friends do. It makes me feel a little uneasy..let me explain. Im very bad at remembering people I cant see. Im a visual, so if they say something about their lives, I tend to forget and its not because I dont pay attention, its because I cant make a visual picture in my mind about that person. So maybe I have a lot of people think that Im cold or that I dont care when I do.

It is nice when people remember you. It is nice to making new friends that you can associate with, even if it is online.

Hello, Lecanis.:-) I am a newbie here in Mylot but gained quite a few number of good friends. It is truly flattering, not to mention heartwarming, that a friends here remember even though they are just your virtual friends. It is always a wonderful feeling when you feel that they seem truly care about you and your well being. Somehow, they make me feel like I belong here and I am special and loved.:-) Have a great weekend.:-)

yes it sure does. :D a lot of people here in mylot are really very warm. it's even extra more special for me since I dont have an avatar and yet people still remember me and my posts. :D

To have someone remembers us is a blessing in this life. By remembering our lives then we can find our real identity and answer who we are. And it's a blessing to have someone remember who we are.

Hi lecanis, that goes without saying. Everyone wants to be remembered. It really feels good, especially when someone still remembers your name even if you have not contacted him for a long time. As for me, since I am new and has signed in to myLot everyday since the day I joined, therefore I don't think I'll be remembered or missed as of now. And I think the best way to make people remember me is to impress them with quality posts, and I am working hard towards it.

I'm new in mylot so I haven't really started with connecting with someone yet. I joked around with a few, though. I joined here because I wanted to make new friends apart from my friends from school. I'm looking forward to the day that I'd have friends to talk about my personal stuff, too. For now I'm just enjoying it. Maybe in time I'd remember some and I'd be remembered too.

yes, ofcouse i really feel nice when some one remember me it makes me feel higher i think someone is there who rember me and i also start carring for him, i think i have done really a good job so thats why some one rember me.

Who could forget you!! Some of the best conversations I have ever experienced is the ones you and I were in together. WE have had so many laughs, shared many many heart aches, talked though serious issues and I felt I learned so much from you. I missed you when you stopped posting. Then I as well kind of let mylot drop to the wayside. I had found myself taking to many issues with mylot Politics, friends issues to heart. I also had alot of my own drama going on with family that I just did not need mylot adding to my stress. This was my own fault, as I was personalizing what was not really mine to begin with. When I started seeing your posts again in email, ( I always read my notifications from my friends still here that are posting)I realized how much I missed everyone, and you have brought me out of hibernation. Back to your question, yes it is a great feeling that maybe I was missed, that a least a few of my words and discussions touched someone that they remember me and go out of their way to tell me. Yes.I felt it too.When I was not active on mylot for few months, someone send me massage and ask me to active again.It's mean that he make a mark on me.I think,Mylot can help us to make a friend and build a network.
