Okay, so last weekend I saw Avatar 3D, and I was beyond amazed. i had already had high hopes for this movie, but it surpassed my expectations and wow I must tell you it might just be my new favorite movie! It was packed full of action, really cool graphics, beautiful world of pandora, and great moral. It has some romance in it even, and even though it's computer animated the emotions displayed by the characters was so intense and so real. Adding 3D into it just made it all the better. beautiful picture quality, great sound, and a great story. I would definitely recommend this to everyone! I don't know why anyone would NOT like this movie. one of my friends already saw it 3 times.
For all the people who saw it, did u like it or not?

Yes, Avatar movie is amazing!I saw it once in a theater and both me and my friends super touched with the story, the visual and sound effects are magnificent, breathtaking and excellently made!no doubt this movie will top Oscar awards this season. I greatly love this movie because it talks about caring and taking care of our environment and the respect we should be given to Natives. This is one of the wonderful movies ever shown in world theater, bravo Mr. Cameron who did a perfect job!he deserved an Oscar for this effort.

yes i personally think it will be a better hit then his other movie Titanic. I agree with you I was soo touched by the movie. It just shows how people can destroy so many things and all the things they will do for money. This reminds me a lot of wat colonists did 2 d native americans. quite sad. :/ yet it shows tat a small percentage of ppl is still good. :) i rellyy want 2 c it again tho.

Just saw the movie a couple of nights ago. I purposedly waited this long before I watched to avoid all the long line ups in the theaters. Although I agree that the movie was amazing with pretty cool graphics, I wouldn't really say that it is the best movie I've seen. It does seem like Pocahontas-like.
Maybe I'm just too old, because all the young people seem to love it

Hi wigima
I would say the graphics were really amazing indeed. I would describe Avatar in this equation:
Pocahontas+Halo=Avatar
The storyline was exactly as the one on pocahontas, and i would say halo cause all the crazy machinery. I dont know, i didnt think it was THE movie, it was fun to watch, but nothing more(i definitely wouldnt give them an Oscar). It didnt blew my mind and i think the media overexpose the movie.
Storyline was very predictive in my humble opinion, and the part when he said something like "first it was just my job but then i fell in love" its probably the cheesiest line ever, hated that scene.
Acting-wise the movie was ok, nothing special.
For last quoting my dad, " Putting nature as god, its probably the most senseless thing one could ever do". Okay not exactly, but sort of.
