your reaction to meeting a friend after many many years

What was your ( or his/her)first reaction after bumping into or meeting accidentally a friend very unexpectedly after maybe 15 years or more?I have met friends after 35 years but those were all planned meetings or re-unions from school days- I wonder what the reactions would have been were the event not planned in advance. But I have met friends unexpectedly after maybe 10 to 15 years and the first reaction was that of surprise and warmth & friendliness and then immediately on how we look older!! naturally after that everything related to both follow and before parting a promise to be in touch more often.

Maybe it is not so long ,like 15 years or more.But for us youth ,3 years is enough.When I saw my junior classmate , it just like bumping into a stranger.He is tall enough about 1.87 metre and no longer fat!A surprise and amazement,isn't it?

Yes - one does not notice physical and other changes when constantly in contact- only a long separation makes these changes more visible and prominent!!

I will be surprised and excited to share stories. Its a long year and it worth to spend time together. After hours of talking and talking and talking, it would be best to ask for his/her contact number and the place currently staying in so that there would be a chance to meet again sooner.

A true friend is always ther in your heart and soul no matter how far he is and how long disconnected from you. Meeting a friend is always the kind of relationship bond witch multiplied over and over. If i happens to meet my friend after so many years it will really make me happy and more enthusiasm will occur in our lives. One more and important fact is that I would force him to stay back as strong as possible.

About 25 years ago I had a summer relationship with someone I still feel was the great love of my life. I often wonder how I would react, what I would say, if I saw him again. I think it would be awkward at first but once we got talking it would be easy to catch up on each other's lives.
