I was listening to a sermon about the Yaer of Exceleration. The Paastor said that God wants to excelerate your life if you olearn to believe and have faith. He gave his own example about how he was a shy young man in the background of his fathers church till oneday his was thrust onto the stage. He talked about how David was the most improbably but not the most unlikely warroir for God. In the shephearding of the sheep if had fought lions and bears in defense of the flock. He talked about any body could do anything if you believe and have faith.
Many people talk about the tears Joel Osteeen sheds almost every sermon. The tears seem to come from genuine emotion, a feeling of emapthy, reaching out with feeling and care as a vessel for God with considerable means to help believers. The Tears seem to come from a place that is unencombered by fear or stagnation but is open to the energy of God.
If the tears are real and he can transmit that energy of unencumbered fear to his missionary team who will then it on to parishoners this is why he has become the largest single church pastor in the United states.
