i really prefer a laptop although i don't have one.its portability is the main feature that makes it more useful and important cause i can do my work wherever i go.of course i also need internet connection along with it.but laptop also has many more advantages than desktop computers because of its portability.i can relax and watch my movies instead of sitting on a chair and watching it.

I use my laptop for almost everything I do. The desktop is used for business only and not for anything else.

Laptop and Desktop both have it's potential benefits and potential drawbacks.. The main benefit of a laptop is the portability. This can be a huge benefit, allowing you to take it to and from work, on planes, on camping trips, and practically anywhere else. Along with this benefits comes a large drawback. It is just as easy for someone else to walk off with it as it is for you. Laptops are stolen at an alarming rate, because they are just so easy to steal. Another major drawbacks of a laptops is that their parts are "proprietary" which means that if your laptop breaks, only the company that made it will be able to fix it, and after the warranty expires they will be very happy to charge you an exorbitant price for that service.
While the desktop computers, you are able to take advantage of your local computer store which will often fix it at a much more reasonable rate.
Another drawback of laptop is that it is more expensive comapared to desktop. One of the benefit of desktop is that it is so easy to upgrade though it's drawback is you can't take it anywhere.. as for me I would choose desktop.. cause I am still a student and not on the go.. laptop is appropriate for persons who are on the go.. but for a student like me.. I will prefer desktop... take care and happy mylotting :) God Bless

I use a laptop and desktop as required....
so...when i'm traveling would not allow me to bring the desktop, lol! Laptop is my choice. but if i'm working at home i prefer desktop because of more rapid and severe applicatons can be used on the desktop.

Depends on the situation.. I prefer desktop if im going to work for such time but i use my laptop when i have to go out for something..
For me if desktop performance is well enough i prefer desktop for multi purposed, its stability makes things in order especially if you used for business..
Happy Lotting...God bless!

I prefer laptop rather than desktop. I am a software professional dealing in web development. Usually I have lot of presentation to conduct and laptop is more convenient option for me.
