why am i can't suffer internet through laptop use phone with wifi

I have a laptop and a phone with WI-FI.
I want to suffer internet with my GOOGLE-G2.
A temporary wireless LAN had made in my laptop,
and had set the "share internet".
but the WI-fi can't serach the LAN
who can help me.
