All of us are well aware of the recession which has thrown adverse effect on economy and its related people. But it seems that the situation is gradually changing with time. Not we have some job in IT sectors which was effected by recession most. Even in technical colleges several companies are coming for selecting the candidates to work for them. I personally feel that the days of recession will get over soon. In fact it has started. What is opinion on this?

I think the economy is recovering, but i also do think it is going to take some time in order to the things came back to the way it were, it also require a lot of thinking and change of lifestyle, for example, things like have a Mercedes when you can buy a Honda, are things that people should consider, it requires that people doesn't live above their means anymore. It requires also that financial institutions would be more responsible when they invest money and when they give loans to people.

I couldn't agree with you more. Having tasted a bitter pill, financial institutions will no longer be willing to bite the bullet. That means the lending activity will be on a cautious note. This will therefore mean slower recovery than anticipated. :) Yes, change in lifestyle and thinking is also very very essential, across all classes, not only the rich. Considering the fact that rich are much fewer in number, any compromises by them is not likely to have a great impact when compared to other classes!

I feel there is no such thing as recession here in our subdivision where I live? why am I saying this? cause my our neighbors is giving me and my dad headache about how they keep on buying cars and forgot that they don't have garage.. They would park there car in front of the house and the other house also do that.. So, what happen is cars are piling up and it's hard to pass the streets with cars parking in a parallel formation... Double parking.. ggrrr

I think that is far from over, We buy and re-sale forclosure homes. It's sadly incredible just how many forclosure homes are available in our area. The prices that the banks are willing to accept for these homes are terrible. My brothers have their own business they are home builders, and have been in business over 30 years. Their business is going under. Florida is really bad right now. I would love to see some improvement, but I do not.

Financially, yes. But the actual effect may only be experienced around the last quarter of 2011. (not 2010) :) So dont be in a rush to become optimistic. :)

I do not think the recession is over. I think it is getting worse instead of better. I know that President Obama is trying, but the economy really needs to turn around and fast. I know the economy has hurt my husband and I. He went from working full time to working part time. I am currently in college trying to finish my last year in college. My husband went back to school as well so he can get a better job. I know that the recession has put our plans on hold. My husband and I were planning on starting a family, but now we cannot until either the economy gets better or I can make a good living online. I have not had much success making money on here.

I think so and actually I want to believe that recession is over. I would come to know that if I activate my resume on job portals and get calls from companies:)
I heard many of the companies are hiring in bulk, so that is a signal of recession going away.
Let's hope and be happy :)

A few days ago the UK was oficially declared out of recession but only just! I am currently in the UK but have lived in Spain for more than 30 years, things are very bad in Spain, over 4 million out of work (population 45 million aprox)so thats over 20 percent of people out of work. Spain does not have the benefits or social help that the UK government provide so families are going through a very tough time. THere are no signs of things getting better in SPain at the moment so all looks very grim for the time being. My opinion is that the UK is much better off than they think in comparison to Spain, Portugal, Greece for example.
