trapped inside the elevator

Hi guys...
Brownouts are frequent these past few days. Last Thursday, on my way to the office which was located at the 5th floor of the building, there was suddenly a brownout. There was no notice of the brownout and all of us inside the elevator panicked. I have a problem on small spaces and seeing no light so much more that I panicked. Fortunately, someone has asked some help by pressing the bell sign on the elevator and on the 3rd floor where the elevator stopped, someone from outside who I believed was a maintenance staff forced open the elevator. We were all relieved and were very afraid of the experience. Were you ever trapped inside the elevator? If you will be trapped, what would be your reaction?

My reaction would initially be locating the alarm button. In most cases I've already done that by the time I enter the elevator. Those routines make me confident in situations such like that. I don't panic in elevators. I've got my cell phone with me so I can make a call to a beloved one too when I feel the need to do that.
